General Chapter

My Dear Sisters: Peace and Goodness.
Yes, the moment of the properly said celebration of the General Chapter has arrived, in which with so much responsibility and sense of belongingness, you have shown for almost more than a year and with all the celebration it brings, this means, new Easter dimension- new Spirit in creation-and new firm hope and commitment.
From all the given guidelines and orientations we aspire to celebrate our XXI General Chapter. It is a celebration that from this moment will leave us an experience of Easter, of the easter optimism within our Congregation as much in the Church.
The charism is one form of being happy in following Christ, that is why we want for everyone all the means to enliven, to renew and to update this way of being happy and fruitful in our service to God, in the Church and in the men and women of our time. With that, it is important not to lose the capacity to be happy in our charism and our option to live our lives as Capuchin Tertiary Sisters.
The General Chapter is a privilaged space and for that., all of us should be disposed to do all that will be entrusted to us by one common hope, enlivening within us the responsibility and participation in all level.
This General Chapter brings novelty to the present cultures, congregational realities that require a loving and thankful glance. We would like that it becomes an open dialogue to all the continents, ages, cultures and apostolates.
The slogan of the Chapter “ Diverse Cultures in only One Charistmatic Identity as a common Envangelizing Strength” unifies the reality of the Congregation and its dreams in the future.
Now that you are eager to know, What´s happening in Rome? We will try our very best through this means to inform its most important events as frequently as possible.
We thank all the possibilities that this modern technology gives to us and the knowledge and abilities of the two sisters who will be dedicated to do this work.
The website address is known to all of you.
Let us continue to be united and in communication.
Sr. Julia Apesteguia
