ELECTION OF THE NEW GENERAL GOVERNMENT
Tuesday at 9.50 a.m , 28th of September, we had the nomination of Sr. Yolanda de María Arriaga Ruballos, as the Superior General of our Congregation.
As it was known, on the 29th we proceeded to the election of the General Counsel. Both events were moments of the Spirit and without doubt your prayers were felt. The Spirit gives to us the persons we need in due time and circumstances.

The work of this day was consisted in covering the Various Matters and the reading of different letters sent by sisters of the Congregation concerning about worries, petitions and proposals. At the evening time all the capitulars participated in the intercultural festive encounter as an expression of gratitude to all the Outgoing General Government Counsel. It was true fraternal sharing and joyful break and an opportunity to show the different talents of the sisters.

On the 1st October 2010, we celebrated in communion with all the sisters of the Congregation and the Amigonian Family the 76th anniversary of the death of our Beloved Fr. Founder. The loving memory of our Founder, a man yesterday, today and forever was the motivation for the Morning Prayer. We also celebrated this day in union with all the sisters of the Province of Fray Luis Amigo of Brazil. The objective of the session of this day was to work on the first draft of the Final Document of the Chapter, elaborated by the commission consisted by Srs. Yolanda de María Arriaga, Yalile Jurado and Isabel Valdizán.All of us considered this as a providential work.The submission and the reflection of this draft on this day was considered as a grateful memory of our Frather Founder. A significant moment for all the members of the Capitular Assembly was the In the afternoon we celebrated the Holy Eucharist presided by Fr. Ignacio Calle, Superior General of the Capuchin Tertiary Fathers and after we had the festive fraternal sharing during dinner. |
On the 2nd of October, the first part of the work was started by a Thanksgiving prayer for the life, testimony and mission that was faithfully accomplished by our former sisters of the General Government during the past six years as animators and guides to the life of the Congregation. Sister Lucy Carillo, the Superior of Francisca of Rafelbuñol Delegation in Tanzania presented a beautiful video clip projection that expresses the gratitude and recognition.
presentation Sr. María Amparo Alejos Morán of the the book that collected the pamphlets of reflection and studies about the virtues of Fr. Luis Amigo, that was sent to all Demarcations during the six years term. With the big applause we recognized the work and all the values it includes in spreading the life and works of Venerable Father Founder.
