However, in 1994 the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed this day official, taking into account that the family is the central nucleus of any society.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since then, the International Day of Families has been an emblematic date to highlight the value of the family worldwide.
