I believe this has been one of the many gifts that the Lord grants me.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isselectedend\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">From the moment I said goodbye to my family, my sisters in community, and my country, and boarded the plane, there was fear within me; but in my mind echoed the last words a sister said to me: \u201cDo not be afraid, because wherever you go, Jesus and your sisters will be waiting for you.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isselectedend\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Those words filled me with hope and peace, because I trusted that the Lord would give me the strength to adapt and open myself to a new culture, learn from it, and grow both humanly and spiritually.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isselectedend\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">During these days that I have been in Colombia, everything has been a blessing, because through the patience and love of my sisters I have learned so much. I have also shared part of my culture and my gifts with each one of them.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isselectedend\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">There is no doubt that the Lord writes wonderful stories through crooked lines, for He has given me the opportunity to continue growing spiritually and humanly in this beautiful country, together with a wonderful community.
