Spirituality Month 2026 Capuchin Tertiary Sisters of the Holy Family

With joy and hope, the Capuchin Tertiary Sisters are holding the Spirituality Month 2026, a time of inner renewal, encounter with God, and vocational strengthening. This month will also include Franciscan, ecclesial, and Amigonian routes, beginning in Rome, at the General Curia of the Congregation, from May 21 to 29, and continuing afterward at the Shrine House of Our Lady of Montiel, in Benaguacil (Valencia, Spain), from May 30 to June 29, 2026.

These experiences will allow the participants to draw closer to the founding places and to deepen the charism inherited from Saint Francis of Assisi, Luis Amigó, and the first sisters of the Congregation.

On this occasion, 25 sisters are participating, coming from the four continents where the Congregation is present: Africa, America, Asia, and Europe. The sisters have already begun their gathering in Rome with great joy, enthusiasm, and a beautiful disposition to live this time of grace, fraternity, and spiritual renewal.

The Spirituality Month is born as an invitation to “always begin anew,” deepening the spiritual experience and the meaning of vocation as consecrated women at the service of the Gospel. The participating sisters will live a privileged time seeking to return to the center of consecrated life: Jesus Christ.

This formative time seeks to help the sisters look at their own lives with courage and truth, rekindling the gift they have received in order to live and serve with greater passion in today’s world, marked by violence, injustice, and the need for hope.

The Congregation encourages the sisters to participate with a true desire for spiritual growth and conversion, so that afterward they may share what they have lived and become multipliers of this experience within their communities.
