August 11, 2026. We celebrated the Feast of Saint Clare of Assisi, Patroness of the General Vice-Province of Asia. Through her intercession, we bring before the Lord the challenges and hopes of religious life. Like her, we, the Capuchin Tertiary Sisters of the Holy Family, are called to keep our gaze fixed on Christ, the source of our vocation and the light that guides our path.
On this day, Sr. Patricia Milena Osorno Zuluaga, CCV, President of the Conference of Religious of Colombia (CRC), accompanied us in reflecting on the theme: “Religious Life That Creates a Future: Interculturality, Leadership, and Hope to Rekindle the Mission.” Each moment of personal prayer and the Conversations in the Spirit helped us delve more deeply into the theme. During the plenary session, each group shared the fruits of their Conversations in the Spirit.
At the end of the day’s work, we sang the Magnificat as an expression of thanksgiving for God’s ongoing work in our vocational journey and for His providence through the Holy Spirit, who acts within the deepest humanity of each one of us.
