August 17, 2026. The day began with the presentation of the Constitutions before the Lord, as an expression of the way of life that the Founding Father desired for the Congregation. This gesture introduced the central theme of the day’s work: “Fixing our gaze once again on our Proper Law. The reality in which we live calls us to reread it in a way that may bring about the necessary changes.”
The introduction to the celebration of Lauds and the Eucharist invited the sisters to return to the roots of the foundation and to renew their call to holiness, in keeping with the desire of the Founding Father.
Later, Sr. Ma. Luisa García Casamian, Vicar General, presented the process undertaken to develop the proposed amendments to the Constitutions that had emerged during the previous six-year term. Following her presentation, the sisters spent time personally reading and reflecting on the material, which was subsequently explored in greater depth through group work.
This provided an opportunity to revisit experiences of governance and to reflect on the way in which the Constitutions guide the life and mission of the Congregation. The exchange also continued the process of reflection developed during the previous plenary sessions.
The group work continued throughout the afternoon. At 5:00 p.m., a plenary session was held, during which the contributions prepared by each group were shared and gathered.
The day concluded with the singing of the Magnificat of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through this prayer, the participants expressed their gratitude for God’s presence and continued blessing along the Congregation’s journey.
