August 13, 2026. The liturgy was led by the sisters of the General Vice-Province of St. Clare, Asia, who guided the celebration of Lauds and the Eucharist in the light of the Gospel of the day and in thanksgiving for the present reality of the Congregation.
During the morning working session, the groups presented the work they had developed through the “Conversations in the Spirit” held the previous day. Afterwards, Sr. María Luisa García, the coordinator, invited the assembly to share their reflections and comments on some of the points presented during the plenary session. A large number of sisters participated in this exchange.
The reflection was a constant invitation to listen to the Spirit of God and to discern where the Congregation is being led at this moment in its history, especially in response to the call to go out into the public squares, to those places where God invites us to renew our missionary commitment.
In the afternoon, the various commissions presented the progress of their work in the different areas arising from the Resolutions of the XXIII General Chapter: the Congregational Pastoral Plan, Reinterpretation of the Charism, Amigonian Charismatic Family, History of the Congregation, Necrology, Congregational Formation Team, and General Communications Team.
The assembly expressed its gratitude for the progress achieved by each commission and praised the Lord, who continues to work through humble human efforts and through the journey undertaken over these years under the leadership of the General Government.
The sisters also enjoyed the thoughtful gifts sent by several communities in Colombia, in an atmosphere of simplicity and fraternal joy.
At the end of the day, their hearts overflowed with joy and gratitude for so much goodness and for the love received from God.
